Replace a broken device as a driver

This guide shows how to replace a faulty device and register the change in the Fleet app. It is intended for users who have received a new device and need to activate it for their vehicle.

When should I use this guide?

  • You have a faulty device in your vehicle

  • You have received a new device from Infobric Fleet

  • You need to register a device change in the app


Prerequisites

  • You have contacted support and received a new device

  • You are logged in to the Fleet app

  • You have a vehicle assigned to you (My Car)


How to do it

In the app

  1. Go to My Car

  2. Tap the quick menu (icon at the bottom center)

  3. Select My Car Settings

  4. Tap Replace broken device

  5. Follow the instructions in the app to complete the replacement

Done! Your new device is now registered.


If it doesn’t work

  • Make sure you have received the correct device

  • Make sure you are in the correct vehicle (My Car)

  • Restart the app and try again


Tips!

  • Complete the device change before installing it in the vehicle

  • Follow the steps in the app carefully to avoid errors

  • Contact support if you cannot complete the replacement
