When should I use this guide?
You have changed vehicle
You want to connect a device to a new car
You see the wrong vehicle in the app
Prerequisites
You are logged into the app
You have access to the vehicle
The device is installed or ready to be moved
How to do it
In the app
1. Go to My vehicle
2. Tap the quick menu button at the bottom center
3. Select My vehicle settings
4. Tap Move device to a new vehicle
5. Read the information and tap Yes, continue
Fetch vehicle data
6. Enter the registration number of the new vehicle
7. Tap Search vehicle data
8. Make sure the details are correct
9. Tap Next
Confirm vehicle information
10. Check the usage type
- If incorrect: contact your admin or support
11. Enter the current odometer reading (km)
12. Take a photo of the vehicle or select an existing one
- You can continue without a photo
13. Enter a name for the vehicle (optional)
14. Serial number can be skipped for passenger cars
Finish
15. Review the summary
16. Confirm that everything is correct
Accessories (RFID)
17. Connect an RFID reader if you have one
18. Otherwise continue without accessories
Done! The device is now moved to the new vehicle
If it doesn’t work
Check that the registration number is correct
Make sure you have an internet connection
Verify that you have the correct permissions
Wrong usage type: contact admin
Contact support if the vehicle cannot be found
Tips!
Always add a photo for easier identification
Double-check the odometer reading
Use clear names if you have multiple vehicles
