"Lost communication" means that the device hasn’t sent any data for more than two days.
Is it a problem?
Often, it's not a problem, especially if the machine hasn’t been used recently. To save battery, the device stops sending data when:
The machine is standing still
There are no changes in the connection
As soon as the machine is moved, powered on, or unplugged, the device should start sending data again.
What should I do?
In most cases, you don’t need to do anything. If the machine has been inactive, it’s normal that the communication pauses to save battery.
If you think something might be wrong, try this:
Move the machine, preferably to a place with a clear view of the sky.
Check if the machine is turned on or in use.
Make sure the machine isn't in an area with poor signal, like an underground garage.
Once the machine moves or is powered again, the communication should automatically resume.
