A site is an area you want to monitor, for example, where machines are located or when they leave. You mark the site on the map in the system.

What types of sites are there?

There are three types of sites:

Worksite
A location where machines are actively used. You can see:

  • How many machines are currently at the site

  • When they arrived or left

Depot
A location where machines and vehicles are stored or serviced. In the Machines view, you can track:

  • How many machines are linked to the depot

  • How many are currently in the depot

  • The total number of machines that have passed through

  • When machines arrive or leave

Region
A larger area where machines can operate. (More details coming soon.)

What information does a site include?

All sites have:

  • Name

  • Start date

  • Geographic location

  • Optional end date

  • Tags

  • Description

Site alerts

You can set up alerts to get notified when a machine enters or leaves a site.

This can be done:

  • When you create the site

  • Or later via the Alerts page
