Connect Hydrema machines to Infobric Machines using Machine connections

Learn how to connect Hydrema machines to Infobric Machines using Machine connections and which machine data can be displayed.

When should I use this guide?

Use this guide when you:

  • want to connect machine data from Hydrema directly to Infobric Machines

  • use Hydrema Telematics for the relevant machines

  • have received a Client ID and Client secret for the Hydrema AEMP API

Hydrema sends machine data through Proemion DataPlatform. The integration uses the machine's existing telematics, so you do not need to install a separate Vehicle Tracker to retrieve information through AEMP.

Prerequisites

You need to:

  • have the Owner or Administrator role in Infobric Machines

  • use Infobric Machines on the web

  • have an active Hydrema Telematics account for the machines you want to connect

  • have a Client ID and Client secret for the Hydrema AEMP API

Check with Hydrema or your dealer that the correct machines are included in the account and that AEMP access is active.

How to connect

  1. Sign in to Infobric Machines.

  2. Go to Telematics → Integrate machines → Machine connections.

  3. Search for Hydrema or select the integration on the Inactive tab.

  4. Open the Hydrema integration and enter the Client ID and Client secret under Add authentication.

  5. To connect another set of authentication details, select Add another authentication.

  6. Select Connect and collect data.

  7. Complete the Collect data and Complete integration steps.

When the connection is complete, Machines starts retrieving data from Hydrema. New machines and values normally appear within one hour after the information has been retrieved.

Which data is displayed from Hydrema?

The following information can be displayed in Infobric Machines:

  • Operating hours: The latest reported value.

  • Position: The latest reported position.

  • Fuel used: Displayed when the machine reports the value.

  • Idle hours: Time when the engine was running but the machine was not operating, when Hydrema reports the value.

The available information depends on the machine model, telematics equipment and the values Hydrema makes available for your account.

Snapshot and time-series data

Hydrema can provide both the machine's latest available values and recorded values with timestamps through Proemion DataPlatform. The available time-series data depends on your service with Hydrema.

If it does not work

First, check that:

  • the Client ID and Client secret are correct

  • AEMP access is active with Hydrema

  • the correct machines are available in Hydrema Telematics

  • the machine has reported data

  • the machine model reports the information you are missing

  • you have allowed up to one hour for new machines or values to appear

If the authentication details do not work, check them with Hydrema or your dealer. Contact Infobric Support if the details are correct but the integration still cannot be completed.

Infobric Machines displays the information received from Hydrema through Proemion. If source data is missing or incorrect, first check it in Hydrema Telematics.

Tips

  • Check AEMP access before you start.

  • Missing information may mean that the particular machine model does not report the value.

  • Learn more about Hydrema Telematics.

  • Keep the Client ID and Client secret secure. Never include real details in screenshots or ordinary support messages.
