When should I use this guide?
Use this guide when you want to see where a vehicle is on the map.
You can do this both in Fleet on the web and in the Infobric Fleet app.
Prerequisites
You need access to Track and trace.
Benefit cars are not shown on the map by default, only company cars. If the feature is turned on for benefit cars, a benefit car is only shown on the map while it is on a work trip. It is not shown during a private trip.
How to do it
On the web
Go to Track and trace.
Click Coordinator.
Select a vehicle in the list on the right.
The vehicle's position is shown on the map.
Hover over a vehicle that is on an ongoing trip to see its current speed.
The speed is shown if Show speed is turned on for the organization and you have access to speed information for the vehicle.
You can adjust the map and the vehicle list in several ways:
Turn on Traffic to see the traffic flow on the map.
Turn on Autoupdate if you want the map to update the vehicles' positions automatically.
Turn on Track vehicles if you want the map to follow the selected vehicle when its position is updated.
Turn on Group vehicles if you want to group vehicles that are close to each other on the map.
Turn on Show triangulated positions if you want to show positions based on triangulation.
Use All, Currently driving or Currently stopped to filter the vehicle list.
In the app
Open the Infobric Fleet app.
Go to Track and trace.
Find the vehicle in one of these ways:
Search for the vehicle
Tap the magnifying glass.
Enter the vehicle's registration number or name.
Select the vehicle.
The vehicle's position is shown on the map.
Select the vehicle in the list
Tap Vehicles in the bottom right corner.
Find the vehicle in the list.
Tap the vehicle.
The vehicle's driving journal is shown.
Tap the trip at the top of the list to show the vehicle's latest or ongoing trip on the map.
If it doesn't work
First check that:
you have access to Track and trace
the vehicle has an active device
the vehicle has sent a position
you have selected the right vehicle
the vehicle is not a benefit car on a private trip
If the vehicle is still not shown, you may need to contact the person who manages Fleet in your company.
Tips!
Use the search function if you have many vehicles in the list.
Turn on Traffic when you want to see the traffic situation around the vehicle.
Use Track vehicles on the web if you want to follow a vehicle that is moving.
Hover over a vehicle on a trip when you quickly want to see how fast it is driving.
