Written by Thim Smedbrant

Common use cases

A place is an area that you mark on the map and want to monitor.

You can use places to see where machines are located, when they arrive in an area, or when they leave the area.

What you can do with Places

What types of places are there?

There are three types of places:

Worksite

Use Worksite for areas where machines are used for work.

Here you can see:

  • how many machines are at the place

  • when they arrived or left

Depot

Use Depot for places where machines and vehicles are stored or maintained.

In Machines, you get an overview of:

  • how many machines belong to the depot

  • how many of them are in the depot right now

  • the total number of machines that have been in the depot

  • when machines arrive at or leave the depot

Region

Use Region for a larger area where machines can be located.
