When should I use this guide?

Use this guide when you want to:

  • see how the company's machines are distributed across different statuses

  • show machines with a specific status on the map

  • find a machine and open its machine card

  • distinguish status filtering from the standard map filters

Requirements

You need access to Infobric Machines on the web. No specific role or package is required. Statuses and counts are based on the company's current machine data and may change.

How to do it

Open the status panel

  1. Open Home in Infobric Machines.

  2. Select Status.

The status panel is displayed over the map. You can collapse it to make more room for the map. When collapsed, the panel shows the total number of machines and places. Statuses and counts update as soon as new information is available.

Filter the map by status

  1. Select the status card you want to display.

  2. The map shows machines with the selected status.

Only one status filter can be selected at a time. Selecting another status card replaces the previous selection. Select the active card again to reset the status filter. If you select a status with a count of 0, no machines are shown on the map.

Places remain on the map when machines are filtered. The standard Filter control is disabled while a status filter is selected. The status panel continues to show every status and its total count.

Understand the machine statuses

  • Machine on – The engine is running.

  • Production on – Receiving production signal.

  • Machine off – No engine or production signal.

  • No GPS connection – The GPS position is more than 4 hours old.

  • Fast movement – The machine is moving at more than 30 km/h.

  • Active – Position only.

  • Disconnected machine – The device is not connected to a machine.

The count beside each status is based on the company's machine data and is not a fixed value.

Filter by low battery or service

Low battery and Service work like the other status cards:

  • Low battery shows machines below the customised battery threshold.

  • Service shows machines due for service within the next 30 days.

Select the active card again to reset the filter.

Use map pins and machine cards

Map pins use colours that correspond to machine statuses. A smaller symbol on the pin can indicate battery or service. When you hover over a map pin, it shows the field selected for display. You can select one field at a time.

Select a machine pin to open the machine card on the same page. Closing the machine card returns you to the map without changing the machine's data.

Search for a machine

Use the map search to search by:

  • name

  • internal ID

  • category

The result list shows matching machines. The map does not change until you select a result.

Use the standard map filters

The standard map Filter is separate from the status panel. You can use it to:

  • show or hide Worksite and Depot

  • filter machines by Category, Tags and Home depot

The standard Filter is disabled while a status filter is selected. Reset the status filter before opening it.

If it does not work

First, check that:

  • you have opened Home → Status

  • you have selected a search result if the map does not change after a search

  • you have reset the selected status card if the standard Filter is disabled

Status counts depend on the company's current machine data and may differ from examples and screenshots.

Tips

  • Collapse the status panel when you need more space on the map.

  • Use the map-pin colours to distinguish machine statuses quickly.

  • Places remain on the map when machines are filtered by status.-
