How do notifications work?
When you create an alert, you can choose to receive notifications. These can appear In the platform, under Notifications Or via email.
How to manage your notifications
You can manage your own notification settings by going to Settings β Notification Settings
There, you can choose which types of notifications you want to receive, and whether you want them in the platform, via email or both.
Note: If you want to stop receiving a specific message entirely, you need to change this on the Alerts page.
If you're not receiving a notification
If you're missing a notification you expected to receive, check the following:
Notification Settings
Go to Settings β Notification Settings. Make sure the relevant type of notification is enabled.Alert recipient list
Go to the Alerts page and check that you are included in the list of users selected to receive the alert.
How can I see if a user receives a specific notification?
You can't see exactly how another user receives notifications (platform or email), but you can see if they have turned off notifications completely.
Here's how:
Go to the Alerts page and select the alert in question
Check the list of recipients
If a user appears greyed out in the list, it means they have disabled their notifications.
