Sign in with Microsoft

Learn how to sign in to Fleet with Microsoft if your organization uses Microsoft sign-in or SSO.

Written by Daniel Porath

When should I use this guide?

Use this guide when:

  • your organization uses Microsoft to sign in to Fleet

  • you normally select Sign in with Microsoft instead of entering a Fleet password

  • you are redirected to Microsoft when signing in

If you sign in directly to Fleet with email and password, use the guide for signing in with email and password instead.

Requirements

To sign in with Microsoft, you need:

  • a Fleet account

  • a Microsoft account connected to your organization

  • access to Microsoft sign-in according to your organization's settings

If your organization requires extra verification, such as multi-factor authentication, you also need to complete that verification in Microsoft.

How to sign in

In the app

  1. Open the Fleet app.

  2. Tap Sign in with at the bottom of the sign-in page.

  3. Tap Sign in with Microsoft.

  4. Select the Microsoft account you want to use.

  5. If the correct account is not shown, select Use another account.

  6. Follow the steps shown by Microsoft.

  7. When Microsoft sign-in is complete, you are redirected back to Fleet.

On the web

  1. Go to the Fleet sign-in page on the web.

  2. Click Microsoft under Or sign in with.

  3. Select the Microsoft account you want to use.

  4. If the correct account is not shown, select Use another account.

  5. Follow the steps shown by Microsoft.

  6. When Microsoft sign-in is complete, you are redirected back to Fleet.

The Microsoft step follows Microsoft's standard flow. It may look different depending on how your organization has configured sign-in. For example, you may need to enter a password, approve the sign-in, or use multi-factor authentication.

If it does not work

First check that:

  • you selected Sign in with Microsoft and not another sign-in method

  • you are using the correct Microsoft account

  • the account belongs to the organization that has access to Fleet

  • you can sign in to Microsoft outside Fleet

  • you have completed any multi-factor authentication

If your organization wants to use Microsoft sign-in but SSO is not set up, contact Infobric Fleet support for help with setup.

If SSO is set up but you get an error during Microsoft sign-in, first contact the person responsible for IT or Microsoft accounts in your organization.

If Microsoft sign-in works but you still cannot access Fleet, contact Infobric Fleet support.

Tips!

  • Select your work account if several Microsoft accounts are shown.

  • Use Use another account if you do not see the correct account in the list.

  • If your organization uses Microsoft sign-in, you normally should not reset a Fleet password to sign in.

  • If you are unsure which sign-in method to use, check with your administrator.
