View licenses, costs and devices

How to find and filter your company's licenses in Fleet, and check the monthly cost, plan, status and which devices need follow-up.

Written by Albert Moheden

Common uses

Use this guide when you want to:

  • see which licenses are on the account

  • check the total cost per month and the current plan

  • filter one or more licenses, vehicles or devices

  • see which devices are connected, not installed or under termination

  • identify which vehicle an uninstalled device was last mounted in

  • find information before you contact support or make changes

Prerequisites

This is done in Fleet on the web.

You need to:

  • have access to My Fleet

  • be an administrator

Only administrators can open Manage fleet and see the Licenses tab.

Get started

  1. Go to My Fleet.

  2. Click Manage fleet.

  3. Select the Licenses tab.

The Licenses tab shows a summary of costs, plan, license statuses and devices.

What you can see in Licenses

View licenses and costs

At the top of the view you see a summary of the licenses. It shows, among other things, the total cost per month, the current plan and how many devices have each status.

Current Plan can show, for example, Starter, Business or Pro.

Search and filter licenses

Use the search field to filter the license list. You can search for:

  • registration number

  • device type

  • device IMEI

  • price per month

You can search for several values at once. Type them in the search field separated by commas, for example ABC123, DEF456. The matches are shown in the status group where each license belongs.

For licenses under termination, you can also search for who terminated the license and the termination date.

Clear the search field to show all licenses again.

Understand the Registration number column

The Registration number column shows the vehicle's registration number when there is one. If the registration number is missing, the vehicle name is shown instead. You can see the device IMEI in the separate Device IMEI column.

Follow the status of licenses and devices

The view shows how licenses and devices are distributed across different statuses.

Examples of statuses:

  • Connected - the device is connected to a vehicle

  • Not connected - vehicles without a connected device

  • Not installed - devices that are not installed in a vehicle

  • Under termination - licenses in the termination process

  • Devices to send back - devices that should be returned

For a device under Not installed, you can see the last known registration number the device was mounted in, if this information is available. It can help you identify the device and understand where it was used before.

Terminate one or more licenses

The license view has options to terminate a single license or all licenses.

Read Terminate a license or your agreement before you confirm a termination.

Tips!

  • Use the search field when you quickly need to find a specific registration number or IMEI.

  • Search for several registration numbers separated by commas when you want to compare a few vehicles at once.

  • Check the last registration number for an uninstalled device if the device name is not enough to identify it.

  • Use the status groups to tell apart devices that are in use, not installed or under termination.

  • Check Devices to send back to see if anything needs to be returned.
