When should I use this guide?
Use this guide when you want to:
correct the hours in Machines so that they match the machine's hour meter
register a reading from an earlier date and time
calibrate hours separately or while reporting service
The hour values you can calibrate depend on how the machine is configured.
Requirements
You need:
access to Infobric Machines on the web
the hour values shown by the machine when the reading was taken
the date and time of the reading
How to do it
From the machine's history
Sign in to Infobric Machines.
Open Vehicles.
Select the machine you want to calibrate.
Open the History tab.
Select Calibrate. The dialog may be titled Calibrate hours.
Check the Date and Time of the reading.
Enter a numeric value in every hour field shown. Do not leave a field empty. The value 0 is valid.
Select Calibrate.
If you select a date in the past, the time automatically changes to 23:59. You can change the time if the reading was taken at a different time. Machines retrieves the recorded hour values for the selected point in time. When calibration is complete, the dialog closes and the updated hour values are shown in History.
When reporting service
Open Service.
Select the machine in the service list.
Open the Service tab.
Select Report service.
Enter the date, time and a comment about the completed service.
Expand Calibrate machine hours and, if shown, Calibrate production hours.
Enter a numeric value in every hour field shown. Do not leave a field empty. The value 0 is valid.
Check the final button:
If you have not changed the hour values, select Report service.
If you have changed an hour value, select Calibrate and report service.
The calibration is saved together with the reported service.
If it does not work
First, check that:
you have opened the correct machine
the date and time match when the hour meter was read
every hour field shown contains a value greater than 0
you have entered a comment and the other required information when calibrating while reporting service
The value 0 is valid. If Calibrate, Report service or Calibrate and report service is inactive, a required field may still be empty.
If an expected hour field is not shown, this depends on how the machine is configured.
Tips
Read the machine's hour meter and note the date and time before you start.
Use 0 when it is the correct value, for example when production time is not used.
Check the machine name and all hour values again before saving.
