Connect Hitachi machines to Infobric Machines using Machine connections

Learn how to connect Hitachi machines to Infobric Machines using Machine connections and which machine data can be displayed.

When should I use this guide?

Use this guide when you want to connect Hitachi machines from Global e-Service directly to Infobric Machines through AEMP without installing a separate telematics device.

Infobric Machines provides two options:

  • Hitachi (Snapshot) for Hitachi's daily service

  • Hitachi (Real) for Hitachi's real-time service

Confirm which service is included in your Hitachi agreement before selecting the integration. Both options can be configured directly when they have the status Inactive.

Prerequisites

You need:

  • access to Infobric Machines on the web

  • the Owner or Administrator role

  • access to the relevant machines in Hitachi Global e-Service

  • confirmation of whether your agreement includes Hitachi's daily or real-time service

  • the Username and Password for Hitachi's AEMP service

Contact Hitachi or your Hitachi dealer if you do not have the required information or are unsure which integration to select.

Connect Hitachi

  1. Sign in to Infobric Machines.

  2. Open Telematics.

  3. Select Integrate machines.

  4. Open Machine connections.

  5. Search for Hitachi under Inactive.

  6. Select:

    • Hitachi (Snapshot) if you use Hitachi's daily service

    • Hitachi (Real) if you use Hitachi's real-time service

  7. Enter the Username and Password under Enter authentication.

  8. If you need another set of credentials, select Add another authentication.

  9. Select Connect and collect data.

  10. Continue through Collect data and Complete the integration.

When the connection is complete, Infobric Machines starts collecting the machine data made available by Hitachi. When machines and new values appear depends on the Hitachi service you use. The real-time service updates more frequently, while the daily service follows its daily data flow.

Which Hitachi data is displayed?

Infobric Machines can display the following data when it is supplied by Hitachi:

  • machine identification and basic machine information

  • hour meter

  • position

  • fuel used

  • fuel level

  • idle hours

Hitachi's idle hours represent time when the engine is running without the machine working.

Availability depends on the machine, its equipment, the data recorded by Hitachi and the Hitachi service included in your agreement.

Hitachi can supply both snapshot data and time-series data. Snapshot data shows the latest available value. Time-series data contains recorded values with timestamps and can provide historical data when this is included in the Hitachi service.

If it does not work

Check that:

  • you selected Hitachi (Snapshot) or Hitachi (Real) for the correct Hitachi service

  • the Username and Password are for Hitachi's AEMP service

  • the credentials have access to the machines you want to connect

  • all required fields are complete

The Connect and collect data button is not available until all required information has been entered.

If no machines or data appear, first confirm that you selected the correct Hitachi integration. With the daily service, you may need to wait for the next data transfer. If the problem remains, verify the machines and API access in Hitachi Global e-Service, then contact support.

Infobric Machines displays the information received from Hitachi. Missing or incorrect source data must be checked with Hitachi or your dealer.

Tips

  • Confirm whether you use Hitachi's daily or real-time service before you begin.

  • Use Add another authentication if your machines are split across several Hitachi accounts.

  • Do not expect engine status; Hitachi does not supply it through this integration.

  • Never include real credentials in screenshots or support messages.
