Learn how to connect Komatsu machines to Infobric Machines using Machine connections and which machine data can be displayed.

When should I use this guide?

Use this guide when you want to connect Komatsu machines directly to Infobric Machines via AEMP without a separate telematics device.

In Infobric Machines, the provider is shown as Komatsu with status Manual. This means the connection must be configured together with Support and cannot be completed entirely as self-service.

Komatsu provides data from KOMTRAX and My Komatsu through its ISO 15143-3 API.

Prerequisites

You need to:

  • have access to Infobric Machines on the web

  • have the Owner or Administrator role

  • have an active telematics service for the relevant Komatsu machines

  • check that the machines are available in the correct Komatsu account

  • contact Support to configure the connection

The Komatsu connection normally uses a username and password for the Komatsu ISO API together with your Komatsu account ID. Because the integration has status Manual, Support will confirm which details are required and how they should be handled.

How to connect

  1. Sign in to Infobric Machines.

  2. Open Telematics.

  3. Select Integrate machines.

  4. Open Machine connections.

  5. Search for Komatsu.

  6. Confirm that the provider has status Manual.

  7. Contact Support and state that you want to connect Komatsu machines via AEMP.

  8. Follow the instructions from Support to provide or configure the required details.

When the connection has been configured, Infobric Machines starts retrieving the data that Komatsu makes available. New machines and current values appear after the connection is complete and the next data retrieval has taken place.

Which data is displayed from Komatsu?

Infobric Machines can display the following data when Komatsu provides it:

  • machine identification and basic machine information

  • operating hours

  • position

  • fuel used

  • fuel level

Availability depends on the machine, the data recorded by Komatsu and the services included in your Komatsu agreement.

The Komatsu connection provides snapshot data. This means that Infobric Machines retrieves the latest available value for each machine. The connection does not provide historical time series from before the connection was created and does not reconstruct data from an interruption.

If it does not work

First, check that:

  • the relevant machines are available in KOMTRAX or My Komatsu

  • the required telematics service and API access are included in your Komatsu agreement

  • Support has configured the connection

  • the details used for the connection are still valid

Because the provider has status Manual, do not try to complete the connection yourself.

If no machines or data appear after Support has completed the connection, first check the machines and source data in KOMTRAX or My Komatsu, then contact Support.

Infobric Machines displays the information received from Komatsu. If source data is missing or incorrect, check it with Komatsu or your dealer.

Tips

  • Prepare details about your company, Komatsu account and relevant machines before contacting Support.

  • Check that the correct machines are linked to the account that will be used.

  • Available data may differ between machines and agreements.

  • Learn more in My Komatsu and about KOMTRAX.

  • Never include real authentication details in screenshots or ordinary support messages.
