Before you start
You invite new users to Machines from the web platform.
You need to be an owner or administrator in the system to invite a user.
Find user management
Go to Administration → User management.
The page lists the existing users in the system. The list includes details such as name, email address, job title, user permission and status.
The status may show when a user last signed in or whether the user is pending and has not yet activated their account.
Invite a user
Go to Administration → User management.
Select Invite user in the upper-right corner.
Enter the user's email address.
Choose the user's permission: Administrator or User.
Enter the user's first name and last name.
Select Invite user.
What happens after the invitation?
The user receives an email after you send the invitation.
They need to follow the instructions in the email and activate their account before they can start using the system.
Tips!
Check that the email address is correct before sending the invitation.
Select Administrator only for users who need to administer the system. Select User for other users.
